This is the classic card set for China-adoptive parents.


Chinese vocabulary cards--in English, pinyin, simple phonetic pronunciation, and Chinese characters--designed for the adoptive traveler (--deck is on a small chain). Also included are expressions for comforting and communicating with a child, plus a special "introduction" card to show bystanders (admirers of your child) and a guide to the four spoken tones of Chinese. Included (on a card) is a map of Shamian Island in Guangzhou (U.S. Consulate and White Swan, etc.). The
